Damon Wells: co-founder

Damon is a qualified FCPA accountant with a career spanning ASX listed companies and large family businesses. A passionate Tasmanian he served as a director of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and as a divisional councillor for CPA Australia.

With extensive experience as a business advisor across many industries, he discovered a common failing in businesses was their lack of cash flow management and a failure to understand the cash flow cycle. This fact is supported by numerous studies and common statistics of a business’s pain points.

Time wasting, chasing payments, tax obligations, struggling to meet payroll commitments are common stresses that a business (and the owners/directors) face. Damon saw the challenges that clients faced and set about developing a tool to help them…something simple, functional, and cost effective.

Together, with his business partner, they have built and refined Flowcash, which delivers a new level of simplicity and functionality to enable business owners to manage their cash flow with… Cashflow Confidence.

John Vivarelli: co-founder

When Damon approached John with his vision to assist businesses to manage their cash flow, John was excited by the opportunity to be a part of an innovative Tasmanian company.

John’s 30-year plus career has covered diverse roles such as consultant, project manager, researcher, software / database developer and business / systems analyst. He has a wealth of experience in developing Applications and Business Intelligence systems.

He has diverse experience in both the private and government sectors and in a wide variety of business sectors including: trading and risk management, tax compliance, insurance, asset management and marketing services.

He has a long standing interest and qualifications in artificial intelligence and is planning to implement aspects of this technology into the future development of Flowcash .

He holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Science and is a senior member of the ACS.

History of Flowcash

It has taken about two years to develop the original Flowcash concept into a cloud-based cash flow management platform. The intuitive app is the brainchild of Damon and John’s combined strengths and experiences. Damon’s cash flow management background and John’s experience developing intuitive software platforms.
